Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ascendare, operated by Impact Plaza Network LLC. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

1. What the service is

Ascendare provides a self-report leadership assessment based on the DLCM™ model, a report derived from your responses, and an AI assistant that can discuss that report with you. Features available to you depend on what you have signed up for.

2. What the assessment is not

This section matters more than the rest, so it is near the top rather than buried.

• Ascendare is a development instrument. It is not designed, validated or licensed for selection, hiring, promotion, redundancy, discipline or any other employment decision, and must not be used for those purposes.
• It is self-report. It measures how you describe your own leadership. It does not measure how colleagues experience you, and the two often differ.
• It is not a clinical, psychological or medical assessment, and is not a diagnosis of anything. If you are looking for clinical support, please speak to a qualified professional.
• Scores are expressed against the DLCM™ model, not ranked against a population sample. A score is not a percentile and should not be read as one.
• Nothing in the report, and nothing Aria says, is professional, legal, financial or medical advice. Decisions you take remain yours.

If you use results in a way this section prohibits, you do so on your own responsibility and accept the consequences of doing so.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details.
• Your account is yours alone. Keep your password to yourself; tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, harvest or systematically extract the assessment, its questions, its scoring, the report content, or any other part of the platform.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the underlying method, question bank, parameters or scoring logic.
• Resell, sublicense, republish or commercially exploit any part of the service, or use it to build a competing instrument.
• Administer the assessment to other people, or present its output as your own product or as a service to third parties.
• Circumvent security, access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the service's operation.

5. Intellectual property

The DLCM™ model, Ascendare Insight™, the assessment and its contents, the scoring methodology, the report structure and interpretive material, and the software, design and text of the platform are owned by Impact Plaza Network LLC and are protected by intellectual property law. Using the service grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use it for your own development. It grants you no ownership of any of the above.

Your own responses, and what you write in the platform, remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you — to store your responses, produce your report and let Aria refer to it.

6. Payment and refunds

• Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe.
• Where something is sold as a one-time purchase, it is charged once and is not a subscription.
• If a purchase does not deliver what it described, write to us and we will refund it.
• Access included for a stated period ends when that period ends. Where we say your report remains yours, it remains available to you regardless.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change removes something you have paid for, we will refund the affected portion.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the results will be accurate for you, that they will predict any outcome, or that acting on them will produce any particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Impact Plaza Network LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunity, lost data, or harm arising from decisions taken on the basis of your results — including any employment decision, which section 2 prohibits in any case.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and some jurisdictions do not permit some of these exclusions, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

10. Ending your use

You can close your account at any time by writing to support@dossouleadership.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so. Sections 2, 5, 8, 9 and 11 survive the end of your use.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, and the courts of Washington have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If a change materially affects your rights we will email you before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it.
